How to obtain permanent residency in Serbia:
- Foreigners who have been married to a citizen of the Republic of Serbia for at least three years or foreigners with permanent residency
- If one of the parents is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia or a foreigner with permanent residency, minors temporarily residing in the Republic of Serbia
- Foreigners investing in Serbia for economic or other activities
- Foreigners of Serbian descent
- Foreigners staying permanently in the Republic of Serbia for five years according to the temporary residence permit
If you require permanent residence based on family reunion, the documents that need to be provided to us:
- Fill out the permanent residence application form
- Proof of Expenses
- Copy of passport (location with approved temporary residence)
- Two photos, 4×3 cm format
- Doctoral Certificate-The purpose of issuing the certificate: to obtain permanent residency (not more than 6 months)
- Testimony or other school documents
- birth certificate
- Evidence of means of earning a living
- Proof of ownership of an apartment or other house
- Certificate of relatives with Serbian citizens or foreigners who have settled permanently.
If you are applying for permanent residency based on marriage to a Serbian citizen or foreigner with permanent residency, you should provide us with documents:

- Proof of Expenses
- Copy of passport (picture page)
- Two photos (4×3 cm)
- PhD certificate
